About this product
The RANE FOUR is a 4-channel DJ controller designed for Serato DJ Pro with stem separation capability. It features 16 performance pads, onboard FX including pitch shifting, loop/sampler, roll, filter, and reverb. With two mic inputs, two phono and two line inputs, and XLR/TRS outputs, it offers flexible connectivity. The tabletop form factor and 24-bit/48kHz audio quality make it suitable for professional use. Priced at $999.00.
Our take
As a working DJ, the RANE FOUR feels like a serious upgrade. The stem separation is seamless in Serato, and the 16 pads give plenty of room for hot cues and loops. I appreciate the dual mic inputs for talkovers, and the FX section covers everything from basic filters to creative pitch shifting. Build quality is solid with a metal chassis. My only gripe is the 48kHz sampling rate - not an issue for most, but some might want higher. At $999, it's a strong contender for mobile and club use.
